Scheduling and Delivery: The foundation of our reputation is the superior quality of our work. In spite of our best efforts, occasionally turnaround times and due dates need to be extended in order to maintain our quality standards. Ray's is not responsible for any damages or loss of income to clients due to delays in completing and delivering orders. All due dates are also contingent upon accidents, strikes, equipment breakdown or acts of God. All shipping is done by Fedex and Rays is not responsbile for delayed shipments. Overnight and 2day service is the only way to guarantee a pacakage is received by a certain date. Ground shipments are NOT send out daily and to be expected within 2-9 days from the ship date.
Original Photos and Art Liability: Great care is taken by the staff of Ray's to prevent loss and damage to original photos, artwork, slides, negatives, transparencies, film, CD-R, memory sticks and other media and materials entrusted to us by clients. However, in the event of loss or damage, Ray's will only be responsible for the replacement costs of the basic tangible materials. Any additional losses incurred by client will not be reimbursed, including photo shoots, postage, agent bookings, airfare, etc.
Unclaimed Originals and Orders: Ray's will hold unclaimed originals and orders for a period of at least three months, after which time we have the right to dispose of such materials, whether paid for or not.
Set-Up Negatives and CDs: Ray's will keep B&W and color negatives and digital set-ups on file for three years, after which time they will be destroyed.
Changes, Adjustments and Refunds: Any requests for changes or adjustments to orders, or claims that orders were not completed correctly, must be made within 72 hours of receiving the completed order, regardless of who is at fault. No refunds will be issued after this period, and any changes will be made at client’s expense. Electronic images (sent via email or saved to disk) are non-refundable once delivered.
Setup fees are non-refundable once completed. Setup fees are applied to all new orders despite request to change and/or cancel the order at time of test prints. If no copies are ordered once setup is completed, a $10 per image fee will be applied in addition to the setup charge.
Payment and Cancellation: Ray's requires 100% prepayment prior to starting work on any order. The amount of any refunds will be determined by the amount of work that has been completed at the time of cancellation. All canceled orders are subject to a $35.00 fee. No refunds issued on retouching once work has been started by our staff.
